Cape Town - Stand-in skipper Makhehleni Makhaula says Free State Stars will bounce back against Golden Arrows on Wednesday.
Ea Lla Koto were unfortunate to be knocked out of the Telkom Knockout against Bidvest Wits on Saturday in a 1-0 loss where the woodwork was hit on two occasions.
Speaking ahead of facing Abafana Bes'thende, Makhaula says Stars will continue to play their game, having been unlucky last time out.
He told the club's official website: "We have prepared very well for the Golden Arrows match.
"The team will continue where they left off as far as creating goals is concerned. Luck was not on our side over the weekend. We created ample chances but we were twice denied by the woodwork."
Makhaula added that head coach Luc Eymael has though been working hard to improve their finishing.
"The coach has been putting extra time to work on finishing with our strikers, and one hopes that against Arrows they will have their scoring boots on.
"The morale in the camp is very high, the guys have put the Wits loss under the bed and we are ready for the new challenge ahead of us," Makhaula added.
"We are not playing bad at all it's just that we create a lot of scoring chances, but we just can't find the back of the net."
