Jet Airways announced on Monday that passengers arriving via domestic flights to Hyderabad and proceeding for their international travel would be guided to the Interim Departure International Terminal (IITD) by its staff who would be available at baggage desk near belt no.2. The terminal will become operational on October 23.
Passengers would be guided towards lift no. P2 outside the ‘Arrival Hall’ and need to make their way to Level -1 (basement) and can then either take the free shuttle service or walk to the IIDT.
One can enter through any gate at the new IIDT and go through the respective airline counters followed by immigration process and then the security hold area.
Baggage of those proceeding on international flights would be transferred to respective airline’s baggage build-up area through an internal transfer process. The terminal change will have no effect on guests flying in from other countries into Hyderabad for further domestic travel.
Those arriving from international destinations and proceeding for domestic travel with Jet Airways will need to exit the international arrivals area and head towards domestic departures area (Level 2) in the existing terminal.
