Indian equity benchmarks on Tuesday fell for fourth day in a row to their lowest levels in over six months, dragged by IT and pharma stocks as global stocks resumed selloff.
The S&P BSE Sensex fell 0.84 percent or 287 points to 33,847 and the NSE Nifty 50 Index dropped 0.96 percent or 98 points to 10,147.
