Representational ImageNEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission has invited the application for recruitment of Stenographer to fill unspecified number of vacancies in various Central government ministries/ departments/ organisations.
The SSC will hold an open competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Stenographer Grade 'C' (Group 'B', Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade 'D' (Group 'C').
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the SSC website i.e., ssc.nic.in for the Stenographer Grade C posts.

SSC STENOGRAPHER GRADE C: IMPORTANT DATES
SC stenographer: Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Dates, Admit Card, Result, Cut Off
Vacancy Details: According to the notification, vacancies will be determined in due course.
AGE LIMIT (as on January 1, 2019)
For Stenographer Grade 'C': 18 to 30 years
(i.e. candidates born on or after January 2, 1989 and born before or on January 1, 2001)
For Stenographer Grade 'D': 18 -27 years
(i.e. candidates born on or after January 2, 1992 and born before or on January 1, 2001)
Note: Candidates should note that the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificate or an equivalent certificate only, will be accepted by the Commission for determining the age eligibility and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.
APPLICATION FEE
Fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card.
Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to November 21, 2018 (5.00 PM) However, candidates who wish to make the payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment at designated branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to November 26, 2018 provided the challan has been generated by them before November 21, 2018 (5.00 PM).
