Bharati Vidyapeeth to hold global meet on nanotech

Pune: Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering, (BV(DU)COE) has organised a two-day 4th International Conference on ‘NANOCON2018’ on October 25 and 26.

The conference will be held in collaboration with North Carolina A&T State University Greensboro, USA, Tuskegee University, Alabama, USA, Drexel university, Philadelphia, USA and Joint School of Nanoscience and Nano Engineering, Greensboro, USA at the BV(DU)COE campus.

The conference has been organised on the theme of ‘Nanotechnology - applications, advances and innovations’. It has received over 190 research publications, of these 100 papers have been selected by 32 reviewers to maintain the quality of publication at the conference, said the principal of BV(DU)COE and chairman of NANO2018. The participants and authors are from five institutions of national importance such as IIT Patna, NIT Srinagar, MANIT Bhopal, NIT Silchar and Veermata 
Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai. 

There are also two research laboratories, National Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences, 

Bengaluru, and 14 universities and 15 colleges.
