Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has partnered with Marketing Challenges International (MCIntl). Some of the events that will be held in this centre are 22nd Congress of the World Council of Enterostomal Therapists (WCET) 2018, Global Round World Scholar Cup 2018, 31st IFTA (International Federation of Technical Analysts) Annual Conference 2018 and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) International Conference on Robotics & Biomimetics 2018.
As per Alan Pryor, the Centre’s General Manager, these efforts are a part of their effective engagement strategy for the US market.
The centre has hosted an educational program for Maritz Global Events, an American company, as part of its Global Business Development strategy.
Ben Goedegebuure, Global General Manager of the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for Maritz Global Events acknowledged Kuala Lumpur for its warm hospitality, expertise, and value for money. He said, “It is one of the outstanding international destinations to recommend to all multinational and international delegates that might come to this destination.”
Nancy DeBrosse, Senior Vice President, Strategic Account Management for Experient, also acknowledged the modern infrastructure and the hospitality of the city.
The Centre has won three bids related to the medical and information technology sectors from US based companies for the year 2020 The US-based Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) International Congress for Conservation Biology in 2019 will be held in their newly expanded 11,000 sqm space.
