Security personnel killed in terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Tral area

The officer identified as Ct Vijay Kumar suffered serious injuries and was subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.

PULWAMA: A security personnel was killed on Sunday evening after terrorists opened fire on a security force establishment at Midoora in Tral area of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.

The officer identified as Ct Vijay Kumar suffered serious injuries and was subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police have registered a case and investigation has been initiated.

Earlier on Sunday, three security forces lost their lives while two Pakistani intruders were gunned down in an encounter along the Line of Control in Rajouri district.
