TO THE EDITOR:
I wonder, too, which direction Ford CEO Jim Hackett is taking the company ("At Ford, the tension heightens," Oct. 15). My first thought is, "Let's get rid of this guy." From other readings and now this, I think Hackett is taking the company into uncharted waters.
Is Ford going the same way Sears is going? It certainly looks that way. The question I have is, what is Bill Ford thinking? Are he and the Ford family spellbound by this CEO? It appears that the family is hypnotized by this guy — like the czar's family was influenced by Rasputin. Let's hope Ford wakes up before it's too late.
