Underneath that hallucinogenic shine is a first-gen F26 BMW X4, whose owner is most definitely not shy about having all eyes directed at them whenever they take their crossover out for a spin.

While this is by no means the first time we’ve seen a very flamboyant wrap, compared to others that are silver-chrome, gold-chrome or red-chrome, this particular one will hit your retina with a much wider range of colors.

We found the image on a Reddit thread dedicated to “Awful Taste”, and while we can most definitely understand why, we reckon most of you out there probably wouldn’t have an issue with this type of wrap if it was aimed exclusively at something like a stationary tuning show car.

However, seen as how people will inevitably come across this X4 in traffic, some of them will undoubtedly consider it a distraction – from “making” you take your eyes off the road for a split second too long, to outright blinding you if light hits it a certain way, although in this image it doesn’t look all that reflective.

Wrap-job aside, this was apparently a black BMW to begin with, evident by the color of the roof as well as that of the door handles. Its owner also elected to go with a set of branching dual-spoke wheels, also black, masking the blue calipers.

After looking at this BMW X4 for a while now, we suddenly have a craving for sweets. How about you?
