New terminal for international flights from October 23

HYDERABAD: All international flight departures will take place from the interim international departures terminal (IIDT) starting Tuesday, 10.30am onwards. According to a press release issued by airport authorities, passengers are advised to check with their respective airlines before heading to the airport.


“Passengers booked on Air India international flights AI 127, AI 952, AI 978, AI 988, AI 966 & AI 051 and traveling to domestic destinations are also advised to report at the interim international terminal,” read the release.


IIDT is adjacent to the Haj Terminal and can be accessed from both Shamshabad and Srisailam sides of the airport’s main approach road via Rotary 1 (Cargo rotary) that leads towards the Haj Terminal.


A dedicated free shuttle service has been arranged between the existing terminal and IIDT. This service will be available at the arrival ramp and operate at regular intervals. It takes about five minutes from the existing terminal to IIDT.
