A 34-year-old man is expected to face ACT Magistrates Court on Monday charged with drug trafficking and money laundering.

ACT Policing searched a property on Irving St, Philip, on Wednesday last week, locating a trafficable quantity of cocaine, $100,000 in cash, a set of knuckledusters, electronic scales and packaging equipment.

On Sunday, police arrested the alleged offender as he disembarked from a flight into Canberra Airport.

The man was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, money laundering and possession of a prohibited weapon.
