'It was so incredible': Hero paramedics who granted a woman her dying wish with a visit to the beach meet Meghan and Harry on Fraser Island

- They presented them with two teddy bears for the Royal baby they're expecting
For two paramedics who granted a dying woman's wish, compassion and kindness are just part of the day job.
Graeme Cooper and Danielle Kellam were taking the palliative care patient to hospital but took a detour so she could visit a beach for the last time.
Their touching act garnered international media attention and it seems word even spread as far to Kensington Palace.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were so moved by the actions of Mr Cooper and Ms Kellam they invited them to lunch.
The Hervey Bay ambos met the couple on Monday, presenting them with two paramedic teddy bears for the royal baby.

Meeting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was a moment Hervey Bay paramedics Graeme Cooper and Danielle Kellam will never forget
They also got the chance to mingle with the Royals during their meet and greet along Kingfisher Bay Jetty, where they shook hands and chatted for several minutes.
Dressed in white striped linen sundress and sandals, a relaxed and beaming Meghan gratefully accepted the adorable gifts.

It was a moment the paramedics will never forget.
'It was so incredible,' Ms Kellam told 7 News.
'They both seemed sincere.'
They said the Royals were keen to hear more details about what happened at the time when the photo with the gravely ill patient was taken.
The pair also had their picture taken with the happy couple.

The paramedics made international headlines with this photo with a palliative care patient
'I have a sister with cancer at the moment who wanted me to get a photo,' Mr Cooper told 7 News.
'So when I asked for one, they said no problems. They were just so humble and wonderful. They took an interest in everyone they spoke to.'
The pair earned international praise last November after Queensland Ambulance posted a photo to Facebook of them with a patient on a beach.

The paramedics were invited to join honorary guests at a special lunch on Fraser Island as part of the Royal visit
Mr Cooper and Ms Kellam decided to take the last-minute detour to the ocean after their gravely-ill patient began talking about her love of the water.
'She just wished she could be at the beach again,' Helen Donaldson, the officer in charge of Hervey Bay, wrote alongside the touching image of the woman's beach visit.
'Above and beyond, the crew took a small diversion to the awesome beach at Hervey Bay to give the patient this opportunity.'
The patient died two days later.

The paramedics also scored a photo with the Royal couple after Mr Cooper told them about his sister's current fight with cancer

The pair said it was a great honour to be recognised by the royal family, with Mr Cooper citing all the great work Harry has done with the Invictus Games.
But recognition isn't why the pair get up and go to work every morning.
'If I lost my compassion for the public, that would be the day to hang my shirt up because I'd know I wouldn't have what I need to do the job,' Mr Cooper told The Courier Mail.

Meghan looked happy and relaxed at the meet and greet at Fraser Island's Kingfisher Bay Jetty
Meghan spent Monday morning resting while her husband attended a number of official engagements before she made an unexpected appearance for the meet and greet in the afternoon.
The royal tour will continue on Tuesday when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex fly to Fiji.
They will return to Sydney on Friday night for the final days of the Invictus Games, before finishing off with a visit to New Zealand.
