Despite her love of social media, Kim Kardashian rarely posts pictures from inside the Hidden Hills mansion she shares with Kanye West.

But the mother-of-three gave fans a rare look around her austere, white concrete home on Saturday, as she showed off floral tributes from her husband.

The panning camera showed a large space, completely white, and barely furnished.

The couple bought the property for around $20million in 2014, but after spending millions on renovating the space, Kim's mother Kris Jenner said it had been valued at $60million.

In the videos large extravagant modern floral displays hung from the white concrete beams, a gift from Kanye to celebrate Kim's 38th birthday on Sunday.

'This is what I wake up to guys, said Kim'.

As she showed fans around the vast, open-plan home, it was clear that the couple are rather extreme minimalists.

One of the white walls was decorated with a large abstract artwork, featuring black and white shapes, while the others were bare.

A bare designer dining table and chairs was the only furniture, other than a grand piano, complete with hired pianist, playing background music as part of Kim's birthday surprise.

The large empty space looked to be the perfect playground for Kim's young children, with North and Saint captured running around and squealing as their mother filmed.

Kim's tour of the home comes despite her claim back in April that she and Kanye had a 'rule' not to put the property on social media.

After Kanye shared snaps from inside the home, Kim replied: 'Ummm babe. We had a rule to not show our home on social media! Soooo can we now allow KUWTK filming in the home?'

Ignoring that rule, Kim took to herInstagram story on Saturday morning to share a number of brief videos that showcased an elaborate display of flowers.

'Kanye's the most creative when it comes to sending me flowers for my birthday!' she wrote, along with six heart emojis. 'Love you so much babe.'

Kim's birthday also marks another important milestone for the couple, the date they were engaged, with Kanye popping the question exactly five years ago.

Kim also opened up on The Alec Baldwin Show about how meeting her husband has changed her perspective on public and private life.

'It started with Kanye,' Kim said in the interview, which airs Sunday, October 21 on ABC. 'His work life is very public, but then when he was off, he was very private.'

She added that before meeting Kanye, 'everything had to be public for me back then.'

'Now it's, where can I go on vacation where nobody will see us? All I want is privacy. I never thought that I would be at that point.'

The reality star also recently opened up about her troubles with her three pregnancies, admitting she once thought she'd never have sex again because the pregnancies were so difficult.
