Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner's big day was such a whirlwind, the bride didn't get to bite into their layered wedding cake by Milk Bar until two in the morning.

The 26-year-old model and her new husband embarked on their 'minimoon' on Sunday, but before they jetted off, she took to Instagram Stories share a photo of herself enjoying her wedding cake while sitting on the floor in her custom-made Dior gown.

'Finally got to eat my @milkbarstore wedding cake at 2am, ' she captioned the image of herself, which was taken in the early hours of Friday morning.

And while it appears as though Karlie and Joshua had a custom cake made for their big day, but the company offers both six-inch and ten-inch versions of the confectionery creation on its website for $50.50 and $113.30, respectively.

It's unclear if the couple saved and preserved the top tier of the cake to eat on their first anniversary per wedding tradition, but the picture shows Karlie using a fork to finish off one of the cake's many layers.

The cake may well have been a gift from Milk Bar's founder Christina Tosi, an old friend of Karlie's who actually worked with the fashion star to create a special healthy cookie that was sold in the chain's stores and online.

Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner surprised everyone on Thursday by tying the knot in a Jewish ceremony upstate New York then posting a small image on Instagram to tell the world. When the news broke, speculation as to what house designed her dress quickly gave way to the answer: the House of Dior.

Karlie is, of course a longtime fashion model, and some six years ago, she revealed she has had a longtime relationship with the Dior, including participating in its ad campaigns and probably the most fun detail of all -- wearing a Dior-designed dress to her prom. So it was no surprise Karlie turned to the French house that also counts Jennifer Lawrence and Natalie Portman as other celebrity muses.

The aptly-named Karlie's Kookies were dairy- and gluten-free, and they were flavored with natural sweetener agave, which helped to make them much healthier than your average run-of-the-mill baked treat.

Although cookies made using the same recipe are still available online and in Milk Bar stores, they no longer have Karlie's name attached to them, nor do they have the same charitable link.

However, that doesn't seem to have stopped Karlie's fondness for Milk Bar's delicious sweets, which featured prominently on her Instagram Stories.

Among the 80 guests were Joshua's two sisters, Dara and Nicole, his parents, Charles and Seryl, and his big brother, Jared, who arrived with his wife, Ivanka Trump, and their three children, Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore.

According to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the couple wed in a Jewish ceremony, as she reportedly converted in June before the couple became engaged.

Karlie was surrounded by her three sisters, Kimberly, Kariann, and Kristine, as well as their parents, Tracy and Kurt.

Her good friend Derek Blasberg also attended, and after the ceremony, he wrote: 'I'm a bigger man for watching my little sister become a real wifey today.'
