1 held for raping visually impaired girl in Kanpur

Representative imageKANPUR: A 15-year-old visually impaired girl was raped in Sajeti police area of Kanpur on Saturday. The incident came to light on Sunday after the girl's parents lodged a police complaint.
The accused, identified as Nakul (27), has been arrested. The girl was sent to the district hospital for medical examination. Her parents alleged their daughter was at a neighbour's home on Saturday when the accused took her to his house and raped her.
