Brokers’ licences to be verified

Gurgaon: In a bid to curb land related frauds and to check mushrooming of illegal colonies, the district administration will check the licences of property dealers Gurgaon.
The verification process will be conducted by the concerned areas’ tehsildars and naib-tehsildars.

These officials will check if there are any unlicensed property dealers in the area and if those are involved in any sort of unauthorised construction work too, such a building work or allocating plots in an illegal colonies.

The dealers who have an expired licence, will be given 2 weeks time to renew their licences. The action is expected to bring a check on encroachment and land use violation in Gurgaon. According to an estimate, over 500 acres of land is under encroachment in Gurgaon. TNN
