A four-year-old girl who was deemed a safety risk has been expelled from her child care centre after a series of allegedly aggressive incidents.
According to the child's mother, the day care in Stanmore Bay, north of Auckland, said the toddler had slammed a teacher's foot in the door, thrown furniture, swore, and hurt other children.
The mother has made a formal complaint to the Ministry of Education, saying she received a letter from Pukeko Early Learning Centre discontinuing her daughter's education.

'I think they were just against me and making her out to be this monster she wasn't,' she told Stuff.

Earlier this year, the Ministry of Education assigned an early intervention teacher to help the centre deal with her behaviour.
However, the mother still received nine calls from the day care in a four-week period before she was expelled.
Pukeko ELC director Kathryn Flay said the decision to expel the child had been investigated by the Ministry and was found to be appropriate.
'Obviously we had the best interest of the child at heart, so we are very concerned that the outcome is the best for her,' Flay said.
The Ministry of Education said they were in communication with the mother and were making sure she had information about the investigation.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Pukeko Early Learning Centre for comment.
