Mumbai will have a system where all various forms of transport are integrated, said Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The work in that direction have started, said the minister at the inauguration of domestic cruise ‘Angriya’ in Mumbai. Enlisting the projects, Fadnavis said, “Mumbai’s water front will soon have many more transport projects. We are working towards integrating water transport, bus, railway and metro in Mumbai.”
He said, all these efforts will enable people to travel seamless. “In a good way, I think people will start coming to this side (south Mumbai) and not go to Juhu anymore.” Fadnavis highlighted and lauded the efforts Mumbai Port Trust to create a park as huge as London’s Hyde Park. Fadnavis is confident, the cruise tourism will generate huge employment for the people in this region.
