3 militants, 6 civilians killed in Kashmir

Three militants were killed Sunday in an encounter with security forces in district of Jammu and Kashmir, while six civilians lost their lives in a blast following the gunfight there, police said.

Security forces launched a cordon and in Laroo area of district in south following specific information about the presence of militants in the area, a said.
