TNN | Oct 21, 2018, 04:15 ISTBENGALURU: Desperate to die, a youth on Thursday allegedly made three failed attempts to kill himself in a span of four hours before hanging himself from an iron railing inside St. Luke’s Church at Chamarajpet in Bengaluru.
First, the youth, who is yet to be identified, used a cloth to hang himself, but he fell down. Next, he picked up a broken glass pane and stabbed himself. Then, the bleeding youth went to the terrace and jumped off.
As he landed on the lintel, he made the final attempt. He took off his shirt and made a noose with the long sleeve and hanged himself.
The incident came to light when the members of the church, who were attending a meeting on the ground floor in the evening, stepped out and noticed a man hanging from the railing. Alerted by the church authorities, police rushed to the spot.
