This news comes a week after Netflix and Marvel’s announcement to drop Iron Fist for a third season. If it’s any consolation, Netflix is presently premiering the third season of Daredevil, the first of The Defenders TV show in a partnership with Disney and Marvel.

The two American web series, one surrounding a martial arts expert gifted with the mystical power of the ‘Iron Fist’ and another surrounding Luke Cage, a former convict with superhuman strength were expected eagerly by fans to make a return in a third season, but we learn now that it will not be the case. Although Netflix was initially planning to create a third season of both shows, it decided not to because of creative differences.
