The main culprits behind the big train tragedy occurred is police department  who allowed the organizing committee to conduct Dusshera Fair  around the Joda railway crossing. Though the common man was also at fault who were standing on the railway track to watch Dusshera Fair, but it was an irresponsible behavior by the  concerned officials who gave the permission without even watching the surroundings of spot where Dusshera is to be organised. Daily Post has the digital copy of letter in which Dusshera Committee was granted the permission to organise Dusshera. 

Bollywood stars have condemn the decision of concerned officials on twitter who granted the permission to organise Dusshera Fair around the surroundings of the Joda Railway Crossing. As Kirron Kher said, ‘How one can organise such a big Dusshera fair around railways tracks. The organizers and concerned department should have given a thought before organizing big fair around track.’ 

Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Farhan Akhtar, Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhaskar, Anupam kher and other bollywood actors showed their grief and pain towards the horrible incident which took place at Joda Railway Crossing in Amritsar. In the incident around 60 people died on the spot who were standing on railway track and train ran over them adjoining to Dusshera ground where fair was in progress.
