Did sick music video portraying 1999 Columbine killers inspire Crimean school shooter who left 20 dead before turning gun on himself?
- Vladislav Roslyakov had the same outfit worn by portrayal of Columbine killer
- Crimea shooter, 18, wore a white T-shirt with writing, black trousers and a gun
- Music video features anti-gun song by Foster The People inspired by shootings
- It is suggested he shot himself in the school's library to copy Columbine killers
A Crimean school killer who launched a gun and bomb rampage in a school that left 20 dead could have been inspired by a music video dedicated to Columbine.
Vladislav Roslyakov, 18, stalked his college halls with a shotgun and let off homemade explosives before killing himself in the library at Kerch Polytechnic College.
Images from CCTV circulating on social media allegedly show Roslyakov wearing a similar outfit to the portrayal of Eric Harris in a music video inspired by the 1999 Columbine High School massacre in the US.

Similarities have been spotted in the choice of outfit of the shooter (left) and the portrayal of Eric Harris in a music video (left) dedicated to the Columbine High School massacre in 1999
Harris and accomplice Dylan Bennet Klebold murdered 12 students and one teacher before committing suicide in their school library in Jefferson County, Colorado.
The Columbine-inspired music video features the anti-gun song Pumped Up Kicks by Foster The People and shows two men roaming a school on a killing rampage.
It is suggested that Roslyakov copied the portrayal of Harris in the video by wearing a white T-shirt with black writing, black tight trousers with his hair combed back and a gun slung over his shoulders.
He was also found dead in his school library after turning the gun on himself.
Although the clip is not Foster The People's official music video, the band has claimed the song was inspired by school shootings.

The song's lyrics include: 'All the other kids with the pumped up kicks/ You'd better run, better run, out run my gun.'
The song, which was released in 2010, caused controversy due to the lyrics describing a boy with mental health issues plotting revenge on a school.
The band is even linked to the Columbine shooting - with the bassist Cubbie Fink’s cousin having survived the massacre.

Roslyakov's social media has been wiped so it remains unclear whether the music video was his inspiration.
According to local media, the Crimea shooting is being described as a Russian Columbine.
Roslyakov, who is thought to have obtained shotguns and rifles with a hunting licence for which he passed a psychological assessment, set off a homemade nail-bomb in the canteen which blew out the windows but did not kill anyone, according to reports.
'A shooting took place after the explosion. The gunman had a hunting gun,' Crimean official Igor Mikhailichenko said.
'This is not a terrorist act. It's a mass killing committed by one scumbag,' Crimean Prime Minister Sergei Aksyonov said on state television.
A photograph published on Russian websites appeared to show the body of a young man lying in a pool of blood, resembling the man in the CCTV footage.

Further images showed the shooter's bag filled with what appeared to be ten homemade bombs and dozens of shotgun rounds. Russian media has claimed the teenager had 150 bullets with him.
The boy's father, who has separated from his mother, was taken into custody for questioning as police tried to work out a motive for the attack and both parents' homes were searched.
Russian news outlet Izvestia has claimed the father said in his interview his son was 'not sociable' and was 'fond of computer games and weapons' he also said that he had 'no friends'.

Friends said the fourth-year pupil 'hated his studies and vowed revenge on his teachers'.
A girl claiming to be Roslyakov's ex-girlfriend told Russian media he had spoken of taking revenge for being ostracised.
'He would say that he lost trust in people when his classmates began humiliating him for not being like everyone else,' a 15-year-old named as Zlata told the Kremlin-funded RT television outlet.
'Vladislav was always telling me about his frequent fights with people around him,' she said, adding that he 'didn't want to live' because of it.
