Man cheated of Rs 62k

Pune: A 55-year-old man, who is a resident of Walhekarwadi in Chinchwad, is the latest victim of job fraud. According to the  Chinchwad police station, the victim received a call from a person who identified himself as Sanjay Singh from a popular job portal.  Singh told Varke that there is job of production engineer at Tata Motors and that Varke will have to pay Rs 1,500 as registration charges to apply for the same. The victim did as instructed by Singh who made Varke transfer Rs 62,728 in total citing different reasons. 

The Chinchwad police are investigating the case.
