It's Mystery Picture Time.

It's Mystery Picture Time.

Baby boomers and older, too,

Take a look and tell us who.

All right, kids, we need a lot of help with this one. There wasn't even a hint of a date/year when our photo archivist, Furze, came across this black and white glass negative from the good ol' days.

May we safely assume this is a soccer team? But what school, if it is a school team? And when? A high school team would be the best bet, but who knows for sure? Looking at those faces, you could envision an age range of 8 to 43. With all due respect, this does not appear to be, overall, the most physically fit team of all time. Not sure if the guy on the far left is the coach or team doctor.

The venue should be easy for any Greater Fall Riverite. One of the great walls in all of Massachusetts, in this scribe's opinion, is clear in the background. Bonus points for anyone who can identify the citizen, seen between players 2 and 3 in the back row, strolling on the walk in front of the Great Wall of Fall River.

In summary, tell us who, what, when and where. Comment at the bottom of the story online. Or under the Facebook posts on either my page or HNNow. On Twitter (@GregSullivanHN). You may email. Paper mail (you will not be reimbursed for the stamp). You may call and talk or leave a voice mail. We want to hear from you.

P.S. As a bonus to our devoted readers, we also present to you to an ultra-groovy picture of the big scoreboard that used to stand at The Herald News property and provided the citizenry with all they needed — pro baseball scores/standings and horse racing results. Yeah!.
