President Trump threatened to have the US Military close the Southern Border.????He tweeted in part, “I will call up the U.S. Military and CLOSE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER!..”????In a barrage of tweets he said he would have to take action if Mexico doesn’t take action to stop the ‘onslaught’ of immigrants from entering the US.????The president is referring to a caravan of 4,000 immigrants moving from Honduras to the US Mexico border.????While mentioning that Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador have no control over their population he also threatened to stop payment to them.????The Hill reports, in 2017 the United States gave hundreds of millions of dollars to each of the mentioned countries.??????At the start of his series of tweets, the President did call this situation a “Democrat Party led (because they want Open Borders and existing weak laws) assault on our country.”????????
