Director Vikas Bahl moves HC against Kashyap, Motwane
TNN | Oct 18, 2018, 06:21 ISTBollywood film director Vikas Bahl moved the Bombay high court against Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, two of his co-directors at their film production company, Phantom, and several media houses over alleged “false and defamatory” articles and social media posts by them about ‘MeToo’ allegations against him. His counsel Sharan Jagtiani with advocate Hitesh Jain wanted to restrain at least Kashyap and Motwane through an interim order till the next hearing from making any fresh posts or speaking to any media.
After hearing the matter, Justice SJ Kathawalla passed no interim orders and posted it for further hearing on Friday after asking Bahl to add the alleged victim as a party to the defamation suit without disclosing her name. TNN
