Ashish Pandey has surrendered in Delhi. Who, you ask? Then this extraordinary viral video, of an altercation at a five-star hotel, featuring poor fashion choices and a firearm, didn't make its way to you.
A politician's son, Pandey starred in pink pants in the expletive-laden clip, which emerged this week. He whipped out a gun during the fight. He was later booked under the Arms Act.
Pandey is at the Patiala House Court right now. The police were taking him to a link magistrate's court when this story was last updated. A surrender plea was filed earlier.

In a video statement, Pandey said the viral video shows just one side of what happened, and claimed the man he confronted on the hotel's porch misbehaved with him. (On the other hand, he's been accused of abusing and attacking the man, and threatening to shoot him.)
He said he isn't a criminal, and that he's the victim of a media trial. "The police must analyse the CCTV footage and quiz the hotel's security staff," he said.
