Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the Bharatiya Janata Party’s voting booth workers from North Mumbai in Marathi, in a video conference on Wednesday. The programme was organised by Gopal Shetty, Member of Parliament, at Prabodhankar Natya Mandir at Borivli. Shetty is the party’s Mumbai North constituency representative.
There were 1,400 people who attended the conference, including booth workers, ward presidents, beneficiaries of self-help groups, dabbawalas, anganwadi sevikas, health workers and people from the Agri and Koli communities. Two attendees, Sayali Sawant and Vrishali Bagwe, asked Modi a question on development. Replying in Marathi, Modi said the common man was thinking of development. Sabka Satha, Sabka Vikas is our motto and our government will try to bring about change in everybody’s life, he said.
