Gurdeep Singh assumes additional charge as DVC chairman

DVC is a power utility jointly owned by the center and the state governments of West Bengal and Jharkhand and operates power plants in the Damodar river area of the region.
New Delhi: The government has given NTPC Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Gurdeep Singh the additional charge of Chairman, Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).

DVC is a power utility jointly owned by the center and the state governments of West Bengal and Jharkhand and operates power plants in the Damodar river area of the region.

Singh is a mechanical engineer by training and has over 28 years of experience in the power sector. He has held the position of CMD, NTPC since February 2016.
