Fans constantly compare Princess Charlotte with her great-grandmother the Queen, but the monarch isn't the only family member she bears a striking resemblance too.

Royal watchers have noticed the striking similarities between the three-year-old and her father after a photo from Prince William's childhood resurfaced.

Royal fan account Tea Time With the Cambridges shared a snap of the Duke of Cambridge at the age of ten going karting at Buckmore Park 'Playscape.'

The fan put the photo side by side with one of Charlotte at Princess Eugenie's wedding last week.

Today marked the second Royal wedding of the year and once again Princess Charlotte was on hand to steal the show as she acted as a flower girl for Princess Eugenie’s big day.

Joining Maud Windsor and Theodora Williams, Charlotte excitedly pounded up the steps of Windsor Castle wearing a custom dress by Amaia Arrieta of Amaia Kids. Look closely and you’ll see the gorgeous bow waistbands that incorporates the artwork of Mark Bradford, whose work also decorated the order of service.

Little Charlotte’s dress was fitted to perfection and delicately finished with frill detailing on the sleeve cuffs and neckline, whilst the full skirt kept to the traditional wedding design.

Captioning the image on Instagram they wrote: 'Look at this and tell me they don’t look alike (to me).

'Ever since she was little Charlotte has had the “Diana Smirk” which William obviously got from Diana and Charlotte got from her daddy! She is definitely daddy’s little lookalike and daddy’s little girl!'

The photo quickly amassed over 14,000 likes with other royal watchers agreeing that they look like 'twins'.

One commented: 'Wow!!!! Now that’s twinning! She is the spitting image of her father in this photo.'

Agreeing another added: 'Wow she sure does look like her daddy here!!!'

The post was shared on the fan's Instagram account and amassed almost 15,000 likes

A third wrote: 'mate they look identical.'

However, several of the account's followers insisted that she still looked more like her great-grandmother the Queen.

It was this very same photo that saw fans comment on how the young princess is developing the same pose as the monarch just days earlier.

The toddler was seen resting her hands together on her lap in the picture, just as the Queen did in the family portrait.
