After filmmaker and poet Leena Manimekalai accused director Susi Ganesan of sexual harassment a few days ago, as part of the #MeToo campaign, on Wednesday, he filed a defamation case against her in the Saidapet court.
Ms. Manimekalai named Mr. Ganesan and claimed that he had sexually harassed her.
Mr. Ganesan denied the charges. On Wednesday, a criminal defamation case was filed against Ms. Manimekalai by Mr. Ganesan at the IX Metropolitan Magistrate court in Saidapet.
