Angered over shoddy service rendered by a two-wheeler dealer, a man set it on fire outside the showroom in Aynavaram on Tuesday morning.

According to the police, Gopinath, a resident of Aynavaram, had purchased a bike from the showroom in January.

He had given it for the first service at the centre attached to the showroom.

When he got it back, he was unhappy over the work done. He reportedly had the same experience during the second service too.

A few days ago, he had given the vehicle for the third service and he took from it from the service centre. “But he was very unhappy about the service again and had an argument with the service centre employees,” said a police source.

A video doing the rounds on social media shows a few other youngsters breaking the bike with a brick and carrying it to the side of the road.

After dumping it on the platform, they set it on fire. The police rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
