Two booked for running illegal liquor unit in Saha

Illustration for representational purpose.AMBALA: Police unearthed an illegal liquor manufacturing unit in the Saha industrial area and have booked two persons under various sections of the IPC and the Punjab Excise Act.
Police have also seized liquor boxes, raw material, modern machinery and other material used for liquor preparation during the rai. The police have also arrested an accused identified as Devender Singh, a resident village Samalkha district Panipat.
The police also seized two trucks, one car and two motorcycles from the spot.
Devender was presented before the court which sent him to five-day police remand. Further investigation is going on and efferts are on to nab the other accused in the case, police said.
