With more than 300 episodes under its belt, Criminal Minds has pulled off a lot of gruesome murders over the years. People have been ground up into pig slop, burned alive, carved up and so much more. What are the gnarliest modus operandi to appear on the show? TV Guide went to the people who've been facing down these gut-churning murders for the answer.

We asked the cast of Criminal Minds, including A.J. Cook and Matthew Gray Gubler who have been on the show since the pilot, what is the gnarliest murder method they've encountered on the show. Believe it or not, they all had a different answer for what has disturbed them the most, whether it was the person doing the murdering (shout out to Tim Curry!) or just the bizarre way they disposed of the victims. Everyone remembers candle guy, right? That was so gross.

Even cast members like Adam Rodriguez and Daniel Henney, who have had shorter tenures on the show, have seen some pretty rough murder methods during their time on the show. Rodriguez's second episode on the show involved a guy chaining kids to beds and then lighting the whole building on fire. It just goes to show that no one is safe when it comes to a deranged unsub on Criminal Minds.

Criminal Minds airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on CBS.
