Liberty Lifestyle aims to sell 100,000 perfume bottles in 12 months New Delhi: Liberty Lifestyle, the newly formed lifestyle arm of footwear major Liberty Shoes, aims to sell 100,000 bottles of perfumes in the next 12 months, said a top official of the company. The company has today announced its foray into the perfumes category with tha launch of 12 fragrances for both men and women.

"Perfume is just the beginning. We will expand our product portfolio by the end of the next year. In the next 12 months we aim to sell close to 100,000 bottles if perfumes," said Adesh Kumar Gupta, CEO of Liberty Shoes & Liberty Lifestyle.

The company will initially sell its products on e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa and Purplle. The perfumes will also be sold through the company's own website libertylifestyle.co.in. Going forward the perfumes will be available in large format stores like Pantaloons, Lifestyle and Shoppers Stop, said Gupta.

Liberty Lifestyle will also open a couple of kiosk model stores in a months time to sell its products in the malls. "As the product portfolio increases we will start rolling out exclusive stores for Liberty Lifestyle," Gupta told ETRetail.


The entire range of perfume is priced between Rs 1699 and Rs 2499.

"We've integrated varied ingredients to create this new range. We have blended spices, white flowers, oudhs with coffee, gourmet notes and fruity tones to project the right mood of the brand and bring out the true Indian essence with a contemporary mix," said Phillippine Courtiere, Perfumer at Firmenich, the company which has helped Liberty Lifestyle with the new range.
