As a part of its ‘Nyay Yudh’ campaign against the BJP and AAP governments for illegal sealing in Delhi, the Delhi Congress has decided to torch on the eve of Dussehra a 16-hea, 50-foot-tall Ravana effigy as a symbolic protest.

Senior leader and former MLA Mukesh Sharma said, “The Ravana effigy will have face cut-outs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the centre and faces of seven BJP MPs from Delhi on one side, and cut-outs of all the Ministers of Delhi and the Speaker on the other. This is being done as a symbolic protest against the illegal sealing in the Capital.”
Mr. Sharma said that due to the anti-people policies of the BJP-led Centre and the AAP government in Delhi the illegal sealing, in the form of demon Ravana, has made the lives of lakhs of people miserable. He also said DPCC president Ajay Maken will torch the effigy on the eve of Dussehra in a traditional manner by firing an arrow.
