The great advantage Nine's Paramedics has over Seven's Emergency Call is the quality of the talent. The wonderful people featured in the latter program are doing a sensational job, but they're not great in front of the camera. This crew has been more carefully curated and provide relaxed, natural and thoroughly engaging guides to the work at hand. From the literally life-and-death to the comically commonplace this is a snapshot of Victorian life as much as it is the story of our first responders. MH
