F&O segment turnover at 20.89 lakh crore
The Nifty October 2018 futures traded at 10445.95, a discount of 7.10 points over the Nifty's spot closing of 10453.05 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was reported at Rs 20.89 lakh crore, higher than Rs 8.07 lakh crore in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 131.70 points or 1.24% to settle at 10,453.05.
Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance and Infosys were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Reliance Industries October 2018 futures traded at 1151.90, near spot closing price of 1151. Bajaj Finance October 2018 futures traded at 2144.10, at a discount from spot closing price of 2148. Infosys October 2018 futures traded at 701.10, at a discount from spot closing price of 705.50.
The October 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 25 October 2018.
