Ariana Grande addresses Pete Davidson split for the first time

Cape Town - Ariana Grande spoke out about her split from fiancé Pete Davidson for the first time on Tuesday.

In an Instagram Story, Ariana announced she is going on a social media hiatus while addressing the breakup, saying: “Time to say bye bye to the internet for just a lil bit. it's hard not to bump news n stuff that I'm not tryna to see.

“It's very sad and we're all trying very hard to keep going. Love u. and thank u for being here always.”

According to E! News Ariana quickly deleted the post and has made no further comment.

Shortly before, the No Tears Left To Cry hitmaker attended a taping of NBC's A Very Wicked Halloween, which is a tribute to the musical's 15th anniversary on Broadway.

Sharing snaps of her appearance on Instagram, Ariana is wearing a deep green lipstick, a green and white jewel necklace and diamond earrings.

Alongside a photo with singer/actress Idina Menzel she wrote: “If y’all told me ab any of this fifteen years ago ........................... bye. (sic)”
