Bhopal: CM, Vyapam-tainted Laxmikant Sharma share dais after five years

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and vyapam tainted ex-minister Laxmikant Sharma shared dais after five years at a public rally in Seronj on Tuesday.  Sharma resigned from Bharatiya Janata Party and Chouhan, too, distanced himself from his former cabinet colleague who was sent to jail after his name figured in much-hyped Vyapam scam.

Since there was no MLA from the party in Seronj, the government welfare schemes might not have reached people and CM urged party leader Umakant Sharma to take those projects to people.  Laxmikant welcomed CM at the helipad at LBS College.  At a public meeting at new bus stand, he said that he had worshipped girls for the first time at this place and appealed to people to honour and give affection to girls.

He said that his government had launched many welfare schemes for girls, and that he would spare no effort to give guns and sticks to girls, so that they can teach a lesson to those who would cast an evil eye on them. Chouhan said that he had visited Seronj after a long time, and since the legislator the people chose did not think about this place, the area did not progress.

Laxmikant and Lakshminarayan Yadav also addressed the meeting which was compeered by BJP leader Umakant Sharma.  Hitting out at Congress, CM said their party leaders are not united so how could they think of removing him.  He said, “Scindia sarkar runs Gwalior; Kamal Nath sarkar runs Chhindwara and Bhuria runs Jhabua. Congress is split into various groups.” Chouhan said Digvijaya Singh put up a photo of Pakistan and Kamal Nath posted one of Bangladesh; while Rahul Baba who doesn’t know anything about agriculture has suddenly become friends with farmers.
