Daylight brawl in Sydney's wild west: Dramatic moment undercover police pull up at traffic lights to arrest a man wielding an iron fire poker

Footage has been posted to social media of the moment undercover police pulled up at a set of traffic lights and ordered a man wielding a fireplace poker to the ground after a daylight brawl.
The clip posted by a bystander to social media, showed the man threatening another man with the iron implement near a set of traffic lights in Liverpool on Wednesday.
In the footage, shot from a car waiting at the traffic lights, a man can be seen in a black tshirt and shorts wielding the weapon.
He appeared to be having a heated argument with another man.
An unmarked police car then pulled up before detectives from Fairfield Police Station got out with guns drawn and ordered the man to the ground.
Police believe the two men were known to each other and no charges were laid.
