Hellas Construction hires finance leader, Chuck Steier. Bringing to Hellas over 20 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting,Chuck most recently worked for a national construction company with contracts over $350 Million across 35 locations in 17 states.
“With Steier’s background and most recent experience, it should be an easy transition into Hellas, which is expecting to have $300 Million in revenue in 2019 across 32 states, including Hawaii.” says Reed J. Seaton, Hellas Construction, Inc. CEO and President. “We have found the right person for the job. Chuck’s vast experience in construction and finance make him an excellent choice for the group.” Seaton went on to say, “Hellas with a compounded annual growth rate of 26.6% for the last 14 years, will close two transactions adding $60 Million to the top line. Part of Chuck’s role as CFO will be to integrate these companies into Hellas over the next couple of years.”
In addition, Steier will be responsible for providing oversight of Hellas’s finances through strategic financial planning and analysis. Steier’s duties as CFO will include improving internal controls, financial reporting, and treasury functions.
Steier has a diverse background encompassing construction, distribution, manufacturing, technology, and industrial sectors. Chuck held financial management positions at Berkshire Hathaway, AHI, and EF Johnson Technologies. Steier earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati, near his hometown of Dayton, Ohio. Chuck has a Master’s Degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Steier served in the United States Army in Fairbanks, Alaska. Then moved to Dallas, Texas for 15 years where he met his wife and Holly.
