A Chinese tourist was shocked to find a real shattered floor panel on a glass-bottomed walkway that is renowned for its fake cracks.
A video shows the man lifting up a red carpet to reveal the severely damaged panel while condemning that the footpath 'should remain open under such condition'.
The management of the walkway told Chinese press that the broken pane would not pose any danger to the tourists because only the top layer had shattered.

The video is reportedly filmed at the cliff path on China's East Taihang Mountains (pictured)
The video was filmed on a see-through footpath on China's East Taihang Mountains, according to Xinhua News, citing local Yanzhao Evening News.
The terrifying walkway is built onto the side of the Dragon Head Cliff at about 1,180 metres (3,870 feet) above the ground.
Measuring 266 metres (872 feet) long and two metres (6.5 feet) wide, its biggest attraction is its special effect which enables the glass panels to 'shatter' when tourists walk on them.
The now trending video was uploaded onto the internet last Thursday.

In the video, the man is also heard condemning that the footpath 'should remain open under such condition'. He said he hoped that 'relevant authorities could pay attention to this'
In the clip, the man is also heard warning: 'This is a safety hazard, you can break it with your hands'.
He then appears to break off a small piece of glass from the pane before adding 'I hope the relevant authorities could pay attention to this'.
A spokesperson from the East Taihang Mountains told MailOnline today that the pane in question had been replaced, but declined to give further details.
The scenic spot previously told Yanzhao Evening News that the glass were smashed by 'a sharp tool' while workers were maintaining the structure at around 9am last Tuesday.
But the scenic spot stressed that the broken panel would not endanger the safety of tourists, adding that workers had put wooden planks and a carpet on top of it.

The scenic spot (pictured) insisted that the broken pane would not pose danger to the tourists because only the top layer had shattered. The pane has been replaced and the walkway shut
The scenic spot had previously claimed to the press that the footpath was closed at the time and that the man had entered it without permission to film the video.
A spokesperson from the East Taihang Mountains did not respond to MailOnline's query on whether or not the claim was true.
The scenic spot has closed the and the re-opening time remains unclear, it is reported.
The glass walkway shot to fame last October after a video showed a terrified tour guide wobbling and crawling on the floor upon seeing fake cracks on a pane.
