Man bashed by an African gang that stormed into his house says he feels sorry for THEIR suffering - before they steal his car while he’s in hospital

- The group also stole his car keys, later returning to steal his Holden Commodore
A group of African teenagers stormed the home of a Melbourne father, beating him before stealing his car and cash.
Despite the vicious attack, David McGregor, 59, has express sympathy for the thugs.
The group knocked at Mr McGregor's door to his Narre Warren South home around 10pm on Monday.
When the father-of two opened the door the group of up to nine teenagers charged inside, punching and kicking him, 9News reported.

They were yelling about money, he said
'I thought I was about to die, I thought they would use a knife in the kitchen and come and stab me. I was that scared,' he said.
After the beating the teenagers stole cash and the keys to Mr McGregor's 2006 Holden Commodore.
While Mr McGregor was in hospital the group returned to steal the car.
Mr MrGregor has been left shaken by the ordeal.
'I don't blame these people for coming to this country to have a better life, but have the better life. Don't try to steal from other people to make your life better.
'My message to them is don't steal from other people when you haven't got a life of your own.'

'We’re just human beings on a bl*** planet that doesn’t love us. I’m very emotional, shaken up right now,' he told 3AW.
Police found the car on a Narre Warren Street on Tuesday. The offenders have not yet been located.
