MUMBAI: The 13-year old son of an equity and currency strategist, who was playing in the garden area of Level P4 at the upmarket Lodha Bellisimo building in Lower Parel, accidentally fell to his death at around 5pm on Sunday.
His body was handed over to the family on Monday after a post-mortem was carried out.
Soon after Kaahil Dedhia fell to the ground, he was rushed to the Wockhardt Hospital at Agripada where he died. The NM Joshi Marg police, which has registered an accidental death case, refused to comment saying, “There was no foul play.” Police said the family is shattered and it wouldn’t be right on their part to speculate about the case. A police officer simply said, “Kaahil was playing in the garden when he fell.” Kaahil was the only child of his parents.
Nilesh Dedhia and his wife Falguni are co-founders of NTD Trading, a consultant firm that deals in corporate forex, equity and commodity trading. NTD Trading was in the news for its forecasts of the Brent oil crash and the Chinese stock market slump.
