Revenue adalats in all DK taluks to resolve 11E sketch and RTC issues: Khader
Kevin Mendonsa | TNN | Oct 16, 2018, 22:43 ISTMANGALURU: Urban development minister and Dakshina Kannada district minister UT Khader said on Tuesday that ‘revenue adalats’ will be held across all taluks in the district to resolve 11E sketch and RTC issues.
The minister while addressing the journalists in Mangaluru said that land conversion and revenue are big problems in Dakshina Kannada and under his leadership they have planned to give a permanent solution. These problems exist outside city corporation limits.
“We have come across that mismatch in 11E sketch and records of rights, tenancy and crops (RTC). For example, if RTC obtained from Bhoomi centres shows one acre of land but in reality there will be less land. To resolve this, a district level revenue adalat or Kandaya adalat will be held at deputy commissioner’s office on November 12,” he said.
Apart from it, such adalats will be held at taluk level and overseen by assistant commissioner, tahsildar and surveyors, minister told presspersons adding that he aims to resolve it in 45 days.
