WASHINGTON—U.S. industry output rose for the fourth consecutive month in September, boosted by gains in mining.
Industrial production—a measure of output at factories, mines and utilities—rose a seasonally adjusted 0.3% in September from the prior month, the Federal Reserve said Tuesday.
