HYDERABAD: Union health minister and Telangana BJP election in-charge Jagat Prakash Nadda on Monday tore into the TRS government, charging it with blocking development of the state through its refusal to implement central schemes.

At a press conference here on Monday, Nadda said that the TRS government is nonperforming and corrupt. “TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao has not answered as to why he has imposed early elections on the people of Telangana. It is a huge burden on the exchequer and people, the Union minister said.

“KCR used unlimited idiocy and political fragility for calling for early elections. But these words are applicable to him,” Nadda alleged and hoped that the December 7 polls and verdict would be in favour of the BJP.

On the sexual harassment allegations against MoS MJ Akbar, Nadda said Akbar had already issued a clarification that he would take legal course on the charges made against him. BJP leaders — G Kishan Reddy, Bandaru Dattatreya, Krishnasagar Rao, Indrasena Reddy and NV Subash — were present.
