A man has detailed the terrifying moment his genitals were threatened with a cleaver, claiming it was the 'scariest moment of my life'.

Last year, Shane Cokacar, 21, threatened to cut off a man's penis after he propositioned a woman for sexual services, the Herald Sun reported. 

The man was lured the home of Beverley Brooks in Mitcham, Victoria when he was approached by Cokacar to 'protect (Brooks') honour'.

In the victim impact statement, the man said he has suffered from flashbacks and is unable to sleep after the attack.

At the time, he claimed it was 'the scariest moment of my life'. 

Cokacar pleaded guilty to false imprisonment, intentionally causing injury, threatening to kill and armed robbery in the County Court on Tuesday.  

Brooks had already pleaded guilty to false imprisonment, assault and armed robbery.   

After 332 days in custody, Cokacar has become aware of the 'terrifying' conduct after initially denying his involvement.

Cokacar will be sentenced on Thursday at Mitcham's County Court.
